Twins?

Here we are a little over a week, and Ty and Fé are just the cutest things. Both Phil and I was looking at Fé's pictures that were taken a day after she was born and some of the ones we took and we noticed, oh my goodness, both Ty and Fé could pass for twins. They look so much alike at 1 week old, it's like wow! Below is a picture of Ty at 1 week and Fé at 1 week.

What do you think?

They are definitely siblings.

Ty's 3D Ultrasound Pictures...

Okay, so last week we were scheduled to do our 3D/4D ultrasound, but Ty we guess wasn't in the mood to do it then. We rescheduled to yesterday, Friday, and let's just say that Ty put on a show for us. It was for a lack of words, Amazing!! Technology today is awesomely baffling.

Here are the pictures from the ultrasound. Enjoy the slide show.

Don't We Look Hot

Today Chris and I had the opportunity to get some professional maternity pictures done at Kiddie Kandids at cute little photo studio located at the Babies R Us we go to. We had won a free sitting when we had placed a certain number of items on our registry.

It was fun, the photographer was nice, and had a lot of cute poses for us to try out. It took less then 30 minutes and we are pretty happy with the pictures we got. See a collage of the photos here.

Nope, Not Today...

That's exactly what Ty said yesterday. So finally the day arrived for our 3D/4D Ultrasound yesterday and man were we excited. There was a moment when we thought we were going to be late, so we called ahead advising them of this, but we ended up reaching when we were suppose to.

So we reached Paternal Impressions and I have to say that man it was cool in there. It was all mood lighting and scented candle. The flat screen television was looping a promotional video showing some parents getting to see their baby by 3D/4D ultrasound. The walls were decorated with different infant pictures, they were all so adorable.

Well, it was our turn and the technician carried us to the room which was very roomy and inviting and mood lit and scented candles. The ambiance was very relaxing. Their machine was hooked up to a projector, so it was almost like a movie theatre. Phil's bed was soft but firm and it was a little more elevated than a standard bed. We went through all that's expected with the package and it was good. The tech entered in all the information about Phil and Ty, started the music and dvd recorder. We get a dvd of all of the session. And we started.

In the 2D ultrasound, we saw Ty, his feet, arms, fingers, just everything that the 2D ultrasound would show, but we were here to get a sneak peek at our lil Monkey. Well, the tech switched over to the 3D ultrasound and well, Ty's thought about the whole situation was, ummm nope, not today. His hands were in front of his face the entire session. It was almost so funny.

Oh well. We'll see what happens next week. We got to reschedule because they couldn't get good shots or video. All good. So we'll just have to wait a little bit to try again.

We Can Breathe Now

Today at 2:30 Chris and I, along with my daddy, went to our first ultrasound appointment. I would have to say the worse part of the appointment was that I had to drink 32 oz's of water and not use the restroom until the ultrasound was completed. Since it uses sound waves the more liquid present the better. And man I had to go so bad about 15 minutes before the appointment even started.

Well luckily the technician who was preforming the test understand and had me taken right in and started her procedure. Right away she found the baby and said the most wonderful words I could think of ..."see there is the heart beat." It was great. She had to do a bunch of technical shots first and then started with the good pictures of the baby and showing me the different stuff inside. Then halfway through the procedure she let us hear the heart beat. Below is a video Chris took. We got pictures and everything.

So the baby is real, it is fine, has a great strong heart beat and now I can relax a little better. Lord continue to let us be healthy, grow strong and bring me to 12 weeks please Lord Jesus.

Peace Out,
Philippa Channer
