Week 37 Belly Shot...

Today we are officially considered full term. We are 37 weeks. What does this mean? This means that Ty could arrive at anytime now and we wouldn't be doing anything to stop him. So, it's really just a waiting game now. Can you feel the excitement?

It's really been awhile since the last belly shot I took. The last one was back at 25 weeks, then we did the Babies R Us photographs at 30 weeks and now here we are. Having this journal have really been awesome because we can go back and read and see where we were and the different things we were experiencing. I was thinking the other day how exciting it will be to sit with Ty and show him this and show him mommy and daddy's journey and his first ultrasound picture and video and just everything about his birth.

Wow, so here we are, week 37. Lord, You truly have watched over us and protected us. Lord, You are an Awesome God. Lord, we continue to praise and worship You.

Week 25 Belly Shot...

Week 25 and 15weeks to go, if Ty goes full 40 weeks, and we are excited. We thank God everyday that we get and just ask Him for health and strength for Philippa and Ty. Ty's busy kicking away in Phil's belly, or as I say, he's working out and building those muscles. To that I say, get your work out on son. Sorry Phil. In fact, if you really think and look at it, he's in his little resort. Yeah, he works out, gets his food, sleeps and has his thermostat at just the right temperature. How cool is that.

So, I am still wanting to do the 3D/4D ultrasound at 30 weeks, so I'm pretty excited about that. Can't wait. I can't wait to see my son, and then I've also been thinking more and more about his birthday and holding him and kissing him and just having him here with us. Wow, that's going to be an awesome day. *sigh*

Week 22 Belly Shot...

Can you believe it, we are at 22 weeks!!! Wow, I think it's becoming more and more real to me and Phil. Ty's inside there, kicking and moving away and it's always just a joy to go to Phil's belly and say, hey Ty, it's daddy, I love you. Phil told me today that she thinks he knows when I'm there cause he seems to react and more when I'm around.

So I was looking into the 3D/4D ultrasounds. First, time I heard about it, I was like, eh naw I'm good, but man now, after looking at the price and the different packages, I'm thinking, umm maybe :) Not now though. I told Phil if we were to do it, I would love like around 30 weeks or so. Hey you never know, so keep an eye out.

Week 19 Belly Shot...

Belly shot time folks! Phil's looking more and more beautiful and her belly is getting bigger. Our Lil' Monkey also have been growing and moving up a storm. So much so, that I have felt it also which was just an amazing experience. We have been talking to Our Lil' Monkey for awhile now, but according to the baby sites and medical sites, the baby at this point can hear us. So in the morning, throughout the day and before we go to bed we talk to him/her and play music for him/her. Plus while we play some worship music, it's also the perfect bonding and worshipping time for us. It's great.

Friday we will have our big ultrasound where we'll get to see Our Lil' Monkey for a longer time, not just 5-10 minutes, and a couple of wonderful things are going to happen. 1) My parents will be in town and will be able to come to the ultrasound and see their grandchild for the first time and 2) we'll find out what team, Blue or Pink, Our Lil' Monkey will be joining. Well, we'll be able to see if we're having a boy or a girl, if the baby cooperates and is not blocking those areas. Stay tuned for that. Lord, You've watched over us and protected us this far and we will forever put our trust and lives in Your Hands. Lord, continue to place Your blessing on this pregnancy and baby and our lives. Lord we thank You for this Gift from You. Thank You. Amen.

Week 16 Belly Shot...

Folks, it's that time again, Philippa's belly shot. Cute huh? Well, we are at 16 weeks now and counting, and all's well. We are anxiously awaiting the big ultra sound around week 20. We still have a a little bit more time to go and we can't wait. I think we have a couple of things to help pass the time till then. We have a baby registry workshop at Babies R Us this Saturday. This is going to fun. It'll be me, Phil, and her mom. Basically, we'll be going there and they'll be guiding us on how to do the registering and some key items to get. Okay, all this stuff is what I'm thinking will happen. Then on Wednesday we are going on a tour of one of the three hospitals where we can birth at. We'll be touring Winnie Palmer Hospital. From what we heard, this is the place to give birth. They are recently remodeled and everything there is like new and just great. We'll see. We'll let you know how that goes. Then, well, nothing till the next doctor appointment :)

So, how's Phil doing now? She's doing very well. She goes through these periods of just craving somethings. One moment it's meat, then candy, then grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. It's really funny. We'll be adding her waist measurements with each of the belly shots now, so you can have an idea and see her belly growth. She also says she's feeling the little baby moving around. How cool is that!!! Wow!

Lord, this is the time we remember your sacrifice and Blood shed for us on Calvary. Lord, because of Your Blood, we were set free and we are healed and covered. Lord, I just ask for Your Blood to cover Phil, the baby, and myself. I ask for Your help, strength and health over Phil and the baby, and we claim You as our Savior, Healer and Provider and Protector. Amen.

Week 13 Belly Shot...

Well actually, we are heading into our 14th week, which means our 2nd trimester. This is a very exciting time for us. We consider the Wednesday of every week as a new week, right now we are 13 weeks and 4 days and counting. What I might start to do is spread out the pictures alittle, so we can see some dramatic changes, like this one. I was looking back and the last picture we took at 10 weeks and there is a definite change. I'm also going to try my hands at making the pictures look alot nicer. You know try my hands at being all professional and that :)

Next week Tuesday will be our 3rd prenatal doctor visit and I know both of us are very excited. We want to check up on our little one and make sure alls well. We'll let you know how that goes.

Lord, please continue to give our little one, Your Gift, strength and healthy growth and continue to be with Phil and I. Thank You. Amen.

Week 10 Belly Shot...

Well, I figured that around this time I'll actually chime in on this awesome event and journey. We are at the week 10 mark, yyyeeeaaahhhh, and I'm just so excited. Next week we have another appointment with the obgyn and I'm sooo excited. Can't wait. Anyways, here's this week's picture. I think I'll be taking over this part of the blog journey. Hey you never know, I might chime in here and there with my 2 cents.

Week 7 Belly Shot

Again of course not much to see but here is what I look like today. Hopefully in a few weeks (probably more like months) you can actually see a change. Well if you ask my mom and dad they say I look soooo pregnant. Chris and I don't see it but oh well.





I am also eating a lot more. Actually been eating like a pig.
